Our goal is to make this wedding weekend a special experience for every one of our guests. Just as we are merging our lives, we want you, our most cherished loved ones, to get to know each other, make some wild memories, and enjoy a place that is truly dear to our hearts, Southern Utah.

Below you’ll find some helpful information about the location, venue, weekend, and more! We will be adding stuff as we remember it, but if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.

The Venue

Under Canvas Zion

Just outside of Zion National Park near Virgin, UT

More info!

We wanted to find a place in Southern Utah where all our clans could combine and comingle, while also having a breathtaking setting close to Zion National Park (where we first admitted our feelings to each other) and other natural awesomeness (think: rivers, slot canyons, hikes). On top of that, we needed a place where dogs were allowed, because, well, Boom obviously is in our wedding.

Under Canvas Zion is going to be the perfect place to celebrate, and we hope you use our wedding as an opportunity to take a break from the real world: to enjoy nature and good company, unplug a little and enjoy a mini-vacation.

More info can be found on our Lodging page.

Getting Here

Our wedding is in a very unique spot, and though it’s a little bit of a journey to get to, we promise, it’s worth it.

There are small airports at St. George (Airport Code SGU; tel. 435/627-4080;www.flysgu.com) and Cedar City (Airport Code CDC; tel. 435/867-9408;www.cedarcity.org), both located along I-15. At this time the St. George airport offers service on Delta (tel. 800/221-1212; www.delta.com), with flights to and from Salt Lake City, and United (tel. 800/864-8331; www.united.com), with flights to and from Los Angeles. The Cedar City airport is also served by Delta, with flights to and from Salt Lake City From either airport, it’s easy to rent a car and drive to Zion. Several major car-rental agencies serve each airport.

The closest major airport to Zion is McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada (Airport Code LAS; tel. 702/261-5211; www.mccarran.com), which is about 120 miles southwest of St. George via I-15. Most major airlines fly into McCarran, and most major car-rental agencies have outlets at the airport.

The St. George Shuttle (tel. 800/933-8320 or 435/628-8320; www.stgshuttle.com) provides daily service between St. George and the Las Vegas airport for $30 per person one-way or $50 round trip (2 hr. 10 min. each way).

Things to do in Southern Utah

Zion Canyon Scenic Drive (obviously a great drive as well)

Swimming

Pine Creek Waterfall

Kolob Resevoir
