Hailing from Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 Lakes (or, if you’re in Minnesota, you’ll be gently reminded it’s more like 30,000 lakes), Jake spent his youth nurturing a healthy obsession with Lego. In high school, he enjoyed playing rhythm guitar (the most important instrument in any band), having an emo haircut, and snowboarding. It was his passion for snow that, after graduating from Totino-Grace High School (Go Pizza Rolls!), he headed west to study Ski and Snowboard Business in Steamboat Springs, CO. From there, against the wishes of his entire family, he moved even further away from Minnesota, landing in Salt Lake City about 7 years ago.
In recent years, Jake’s love of art has evolved into a keen eye for design and creative direction. He currently designs for a number of snow-related companies, most notably Layout and Design Editor for Arkade Magazine and Creative Director for Smokin Snowboards. When he’s not illustrating & designing, Jake can be found biking, snowboarding, picking Boom’s hair off of his all-black wardrobe, going to concerts, or perfecting his most recent Tiki drink recipe.
Born under the sea, this beautiful mermaid eventually joined the McNally clan to live a life on land in Eugene, OR. In order to figure out her best human form, Kait began exploring many phases, from a smooth-talking beatnik poet to a filthy hippie to a pop-punk emo rocker to a dirtbag snowboarder, eventually landing on the smart, creative, hilarious, worldly woman we know and love today.
Her outdoorsy life in Eugene lead her to college in beautiful Boulder, CO where she met the best crew of lovable idiots to be lifelong friends with. However, that wild college town couldn’t contain the love of travel she had been instilled with since birth, and after 4 blurry years and a stint in Portland, she set out to see the world, living abroad in places like Thailand, Fiji, and Argentina.
As you read this, Kait continues to charge through life like the true #girlboss she is, having founded the wildly successful design powerhouse know as Think-Make, becoming hands down the best dog mom on the planet, and continuing to travel like there’s no tomorrow.
